Making Nurbs Hair


This tutorial covers things a method for making straight hair.

Lets Begin.

Getting ready Now create a piece of hair

1:)ADD>Surface>Surface

2:)In EditMode(TAB),move around the Nurbs-Point until the
Surface looks as you think it a peice of hair.




3:)The Material

1-a:)Before go material window,Select it and press F9 and press 'UV Orco'(to do UV Mapping)

1-b:)Press F5,then create a brand new texture for it and name it something like hair001.

1-c:)Press the"ZTransp"Button,"Col"Button,"Hard"Button,"Alpha"Button,"Mul"Button.
Set the "Spec"slider 2.000,"Ref"slider 1.000 "Hard"slider 38 "Emit"slider 0.345.

1-d:)Now press F6 for the Textures You can make you own which is TGA with alpha channel.
Press"UseAlpha"Button.

2-a:)Next image of Bmpmap. Press F5 and the empty Button next to the "tex" Button,"Nor"Button,"Csp"Button,"Ref"Button,"Spec"Button,"Hard"Button.
Press F6 and load the image which is jpg.

3-a:)3rd image for shadow.Press F5 and the empty Button next to the "tex" Button again and "Col"Button,"Spec"Button.
Set "Col"slider 0.524.
Press F6 and load the image which is TGA with alpha channel.
Press "UseAlpha"Button.
